Lesbian Bar Finder
Every dedicated lesbian bar left in the United States — 36 of them — filterable by city, with every link checked and no guesses about locations.
Searching for a lesbian bar usually returns someone's list for one city, a Yelp page for wherever your IP resolves to, and a Reddit thread from 2019.
This is the whole national list — all 36 of them — so you can check your city in one place.

Why the number is so small
There were once around 200 dedicated lesbian bars in the United States. There are now 36, tracked by the Lesbian Bar Project, which is where this list comes from.
That collapse is the reason a national list is possible at all. It also means the honest answer for most cities is "there isn't one" — and saying so is more useful than filling the page with general queer bars that happen to have a sapphic night once a month.
Permanent lesbian bars are scarce nationwide and concentrated in a small number of states — exactly why one honest national list is more useful than scattered city lists.
What we checked, and what we did not
Every link here was opened on the date shown. Thirty-two venue sites returned normally. Three were unreachable from our side — two of those have working social pages, which we link instead, and one is marked so you know to search locally rather than trust a dead link.
Six venues are listed without a city. We could not confirm their location from their own page, and we are not guessing: a wrong city sends someone on a pointless drive. They are grouped separately so you can check them yourself.
We have not visited these bars. We cannot tell you the crowd, the night to go, or whether it is still open this week — bars close, and this list will be wrong eventually. Confirm on the venue's own page before you travel.
If your city has none
That is the common case, not a failure of the search. What tends to work instead is a recurring sapphic night at a general queer bar, an interest-based group where showing up alone is normal, or a trip to the nearest city on this list. Our guide to where queer people actually meet covers those options in more detail, and the bars and late nights guide covers going out alone without it feeling like a big deal.
